Tax calculations in FinancePal are based on publicly available Income Tax Act provisions for the relevant financial year and are intended as estimates only. Individual tax liability depends on many factors not captured by this app, including but not limited to: TDS deducted by employer, advance tax paid, capital gains, foreign income, perquisites, exemptions specific to individual circumstances, and amendments to tax law.
The developer makes no representation that the tax calculations are accurate, complete, or up to date. Users are solely responsible for verifying their actual tax liability with a qualified CA and filing accurate returns with the Income Tax Department.
All investment projections, SIP forecasts, portfolio growth estimates, and wealth projections shown in the app are hypothetical, illustrative, and based on assumed constant rates of return. Past performance of any asset class is not indicative of future results. Actual returns will vary and may be significantly lower or higher than projected.
Mutual fund investments, equity investments, and all other market-linked instruments are subject to market risk. The developer does not hold a SEBI registration and does not provide regulated investment advice. FinancePal is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not warrant that the app is error-free, that calculations are accurate, or that the app will meet your specific requirements.
FinancePal is designed with privacy as a core principle. All financial data you enter is stored exclusively on your device and, if you choose to enable it, in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate any servers, do not collect any data, and have no ability to access your information.
We collect no data. FinancePal does not transmit any information to us or any third party.
All information you enter — including income, expenses, investments, and portfolio details — is stored locally on your iPhone in a secure, backup-excluded directory. If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your data is synced via Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage to your personal iCloud account. This data is accessible only to you.
FinancePal contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party libraries of any kind.
You can delete all data at any time using the "Clear All Data" option in the Settings tab. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
FinancePal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
